Vacuum thermoforming

Single- and twin-sheet vacuum thermoforming for the economical production of small batches, large-volume and individual finished parts.

In contrast to single-sheet technology, the double-walled twin-sheet thermoforming process allows different thermoplastic sheets to be combined. This means that the outer and inner shells can have different mold contours - the basis for outstanding impact-absorbing properties. Double-sided molded parts and hollow bodies can also be realized.

We will be pleased to take care of tool procurement or tool production at short notice for you.

Plastic sheets with a size of up to 2000 x 1300 mm can be processed. The drawing heights are up to 650 mm for single-sheet and 620 mm for twin-sheet.

The processing of LDPE is possible.

Waterjet cutting

Waterjet cutting causes no structural changes, no micro-cracks, no deformation, no heat exposure and no hardening in the cut area.

Pure water technology
With up to 3800 bar waterjet pressure, all soft materials can be cut without any problems.

Abrasive cutting process
Admixture of abrasive natural sand for cutting hard materials.

The CAD-controlled system operates with a cutting head and has a drilling unit for pre-drilling sandwich materials. The maximum processable format size is 3000 x 1500 mm. Cutting depths of up to 250 mm are possible with an accuracy of +/- 0.1 mm, depending on the material. Cutting angle correction up to 12º.

Waterjet cutting is suitable for the production of technical parts, as well as for mosaics, inlays, emblems, lettering or logos.

CNC-milling

The 5-axis HSC machine with tool changer enables precise milling of hard and soft materials.

The CNC-controlled machining system is suitable for the creation of tooling and for the finishing of plastic thermoformed parts.

Other areas of application include 2d/3D model and pattern making, rapid prototyping through to serial front panel and material processing.

The CNC milling machine has axis travel up to 2400 x 1400 x 1000 mm. 5-axis up to 2000 x 1000 x 1000 mm. The freely programmable spindle speed is up to 40,000 rpm.

Bandknife cutting machine, CNC profile sawing, wood cutting, high speed plotter, high speed cutter, ultrasonic welding, plastic bending, assembly work, riveting.

This CNC profile saw developed by ROX processes aluminum profiles up to a size of 6100 x 150 x 25 mm and cuts burr-free miters of 45º or 90º without the use of lubricants. The CNC control guarantees consistent precision from the first cut to the last.

Wood cutting

Panel saw (5000 x 2100 mm), table circular saws planers and throughfeed router can professionally process wood and wood-like materials.

High speed plotter

The high-speed cutter (3050 x 3200 mm to endless) with slip-free drive and matrix vacuum cuts a wide variety of materials quickly and reliably. For automated processing, the cutter is equipped with Conveyor (conveyor belt) and an unwinding system.

Flat goods are cut precisely up to a stack height of 200 mm with a maximum format width of 1300 mm.

Ultrasonic welding

Workpieces made of thermoplastics are fused together with pinpoint accuracy and permanently welded using ultrasound.

This includes both the assembly of ready-to-install systems as part of industrial finishing and assembly joining techniques, such as surface and spot bonding and riveting.
